Great cottage, very cosy, quite luxurious and very good location for exploring Peak District. Also good location if you just want to stay in the village and walk locally. Mr S, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire 14 April 2010
Excellent location right in the middle of village with walks, caves, shops and pubs in walking distance. Attractive and nicely furnished cottage with comfortable beds and lots of space. Mrs. M, Leicester, Leicestershire 23 February 2010
Having a cottage rather than a B&B or caravan made a lot of difference especially as we had time to recover from walks. Mr C, LONDON, london 05 September 2009
A beautiful cottage in a great area - fantastic for biking and walking. Mrs G, SOUTHAM, Warwickshire 27 June 2009
The cottage was set in the middle of Castleton, underneath the castle. The surroundings were lovely and the village setting is idyllic. I would definitely consider going back to the area. Mrs F, LEEDS 05 June 2009
Beautiful town and surroundings, lots to do, friendly people, very peaceful even though in a town. Great local food. Mr B, Benfleet 22 September 2008
A great cottage with very nice modern decor and furnishings, in a great central location in Castleton with good places to eat nearby. We had a very comfortable and relaxing holiday. Mr C, Littlehampton, West Sussex 13 June 2008
We had a fantastic stress free holiday in the most perfect location, once we arrived at Laburnham cottage there was no need to leave the village, everything was there we neeeded. There is also fantastic walks that we could start from the doorstep and six enchanting pubs all serving excellent food, the cottage felt like home within minutes, very nicely laid out with everything we needed and more. We would highly recommend this holiday to any active family or walkers of any ability, we look forward to returning in the near future. Mr B, Dereham, Norfolk 30 May 2008
We had a lovely time, the location was excellent and there were lots of nearby things to do and plenty of places within walking distance to eat. Our party of 4 adults were well accommodated and we would definitely go again! Miss B, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk 09 May 2008
A great cottage as a base for walking in the area. Mrs P, Basildon, Essex 25 April 2008
Our stay was delightful and comfortable. The cottage offers many conveniences, and the location is excellent for either short walks or longer trips to nearby attractions. There are many sights to enjoy in Castleton, and a trip to the caverns is a must. We would love to come back one day, and for the meantime, we recommend the cottage and area heavily to visitors. Mr H, Chelmsford, Essex 17 August 2007
