Excellent location right in the middle of village with walks, caves, shops and pubs in walking distance. Attractive and nicely furnished cottage with comfortable beds and lots of space.

The cottage was set in the middle of Castleton, underneath the castle. The surroundings were lovely and the village setting is idyllic. I would definitely consider going back to the area.

A great cottage with very nice modern decor and furnishings, in a great central location in Castleton with good places to eat nearby. We had a very comfortable and relaxing holiday.

We had a fantastic stress free holiday in the most perfect location, once we arrived at Laburnham cottage there was no need to leave the village, everything was there we neeeded. There is also fantastic walks that we could start from the doorstep and six enchanting pubs all serving excellent food, the cottage felt like home within minutes, very nicely laid out with everything we needed and more. We would highly recommend this holiday to any active family or walkers of any ability, we look forward to returning in the near future.

We had a lovely time, the location was excellent and there were lots of nearby things to do and plenty of places within walking distance to eat. Our party of 4 adults were well accommodated and we would definitely go again!

Our stay was delightful and comfortable. The cottage offers many conveniences, and the location is excellent for either short walks or longer trips to nearby attractions. There are many sights to enjoy in Castleton, and a trip to the caverns is a must. We would love to come back one day, and for the meantime, we recommend the cottage and area heavily to visitors.
